Join the Amazon Payments Team to work with massive e-commerce data and drive data-driven decision-making through rigorous quantitative approaches.

3+ years of data engineering experience
Experience with SQL
Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language, such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS
Experience with big data technologies such as: Hadoop, Hive, Spark, EMR
Experience with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.
Experience building/operating highly available, distributed systems of data extraction, ingestion, and processing of large data sets
Exposure to large databases, BI applications, data quality and performance tuning

Work in a complex data warehouse environment
Build data analytical solutions to address complex business questions
Implement stable, scalable data flow solutions from production systems to end-user applications/reports
Implement data analytics using cutting edge technologies like AWS EMR, Lambda, Kinesis, and Spectrum
Extract and process large volumes of structured and unstructured data from various sources
Write scalable code and tune performance for large data sets
Implement data flow solutions using Spark, Redshift, and File based storage (S3)
Provide technical leadership and mentor other engineers for best practices on data engineering
