Operations Engineer

Job Description

As an Operations Engineer at Amazon, you will lead and manage challenging cross-functional projects to develop and deliver sortation and distribution solutions.

Requirements

• Experience managing the lifecycle of cross-functional projects, implementing automated equipment and/or integrated systems
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM 360, etc.)
• Currently working towards a Bachelor’s or Masters Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other STEM field with a graduation date between May 2024 and May 2025 and/or completed your degree no more than 24 months ago

Responsibilities

• Work independently with internal and external teams to successfully manage challenging projects
• Participate in engineering reviews and make tangible impacts on proposed solutions
• Lead and coordinate execution efforts for delivering systems and automated equipment designs
• Set project priorities, establish milestones, and drive schedules to meet deadlines
• Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Identify and lead process improvement initiatives to optimize team efficiencies
