Job Description

The Endpoint Security Capabilities and Platform Engineering (ESCAPE) team at Amazon is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their dynamic group. The role involves managing and enhancing security solutions to protect Amazon's vast infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in STEM field or 5+ years of equivalent experience
• 3+ years Experience in information technology in a related industry
• 3+ Years experience with managing and deploying Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Anti-Virus (AV), and or Data Loss Prevention (DLP) services
• Experience in deploying and supporting applications and infrastructure in a 24x7 production environment
• Experience working with different Operating Systems such as Linux/Unix, macOS, and Windows. Experience with scripting and automation using languages such as Python, PowerShell, and and familiarity with shell scripting (e.g., Bash)

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize the deployment, configuration, and performance of endpoint security agents
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements
• Develop and maintain automated processes for the efficient management and scaling of endpoint security services
• Troubleshoot complex issues and drive resolution with cross-functional teams
• Proactively identify and address security risks using monitoring and analysis tools
• Evaluate and test new capabilities to enhance the endpoint security platform
• Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in endpoint security
