Software Engineer I - iOS

Job Description

Twitch is seeking a Mobile Engineer to work on their Mobile Commerce team, focusing on helping creators earn a living through engaging with their community on the platform.

Requirements

• 1+ years of mobile development experience
• Proficiency with Swift or Objective-C, and the iOS development ecosystem
• Experience with data structures, algorithms, data modeling and schema design
• Experience working with iOS specific development tools such as XCode, RxSwift, CocoaPods, Firebase, or Swift Package Manager
• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or a relevant field is preferred
• Experience with monetization-focused features
• Familiarity or experience working with GraphQL APIs
• Familiarity with the AWS ecosystem

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver new product features for the iOS application
• Contribute to high-level design and technical discussions for mobile projects
• Participate in design and code reviews
• Improve engineering processes to increase team effectiveness
• Work across technical and business-focused teams to deliver value to creators and viewers
