Job Description

Amazon Logistics is seeking an innovative leader to design and develop next-generation equipment for delivery stations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics
• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in the specialty
• Experience with Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Manufacturing/Mechanical Plant Engineering, First Article Inspection (FAIR)
• Experience with introducing new vendors and vendor technical quality management
• Experience with automated material handling equipment, robotics, and high-speed manufacturing
• Experience in Capital project management
• Experience using business/technical software like MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software

Responsibilities

• Act as the WW technical expert for equipment development
• Lead idea generation for innovative design/equipment solutions
• Create documentation for equipment solutions
• Generate plans to turn innovative equipment design solutions into reality
• Own and deliver against plans, providing network reporting and financial approval
• Build large-scale business proposals based on innovative designs
• Ensure customer satisfaction and own internal process innovations
• Coordinate with Tech/Software teams for operational execution
