Senior Test Engineer, Avionics

Job Description

Amazon is seeking an electrical test engineer to work on Project Kuiper, an initiative to launch low Earth orbit satellites for broadband connectivity.

Requirements

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Experience with lab equipment like spectrum analyzers, signal generators, electronic loads, power supplies, network analyzers, high-speed oscilloscopes, etc.
• Experience with complex board designs, avionics, vehicle control systems, and motor & actuator control electronics
• Experience with debugging designs with microprocessors, FPGAs, power supplies, and sensors

Responsibilities

• Define test strategy and requirements with key stakeholders
• Lead planning and execution of design verification tests for avionics subsystems
• Support test engineering team through test system architecture, equipment selection, PCB design, and integration
• Lead test system design reviews, plan reviews, readiness reviews, and results reviews
• Partner with cross-functional teams for test system development
