System Development Engineer , MSP

Job Description

Amazon is seeking a software developer to join the Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging team, responsible for building automated solutions to streamline the fulfillment process and deliver customer orders efficiently.

Requirements

• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 1+ years of designing or architecting systems
• Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals
• Experience programming with Object Oriented languages such as Java
• Experience with scripting languages like Bash, Python, Go, or Rust
• Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Automate manual processes to achieve operational excellence
• Design robust, scalable, and maintainable systems
• Build and maintain critical infrastructure and tools
• Integrate with existing systems and services
• Measure and improve performance and availability
• Provide operations support and incident response
