Software Development Engineer, SCARF

Job Description

The Demand Planning team at Amazon is seeking a Software Engineer to work on building software for forecasting hardware needs for EC2, ensuring AWS customers always have enough cloud computing capacity.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with research scientists and business experts to build and maintain a scalable planning platform
• Develop innovative models capable of handling large amounts of real-time data
• Work with a variety of technologies including Scala, Java, Python, JavaScript, Lambda, DynamoDB, and other AWS services
