IT Support Engineer, Project Kuiper

Job Description

Amazon's Project Kuiper is a low Earth orbit satellite broadband network aiming to deliver fast, reliable internet globally. Kuiper Production Operations seeks an IT support engineer for launch facilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science or equivalent
• Experience working with Windows and Linux Server technologies
• 3+ years of PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment and liquidation experience
• 3+ years of networking experience
• Proficiency with programming/scripting languages

Responsibilities

• Apply troubleshooting methodologies to resolve IT support problems
• Define requirements and manage delivery of IT projects
• Lead continuous improvement efforts
• Audit the quality of technical work and provide feedback
• Automate manual tasks and improve team operations efficiency
• Participate in hiring, training, and development of others
• Drive engineering best practices and set standards
• Ability to travel up to 30%
