Job Description

Amazon is seeking individuals to support the Intelligence Community’s mission by providing high availability, scalability, and security requirements for the next generation of compute and storage platforms.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or A+ or CND or Network+ or Security+ certification
• Current active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
• 5+ years of administrative experience with Linux or cloud platform environments

Responsibilities

• Support software services before they go live in Amazon Dedicated Clouds through testing and integration
• Maintain software services by measuring and monitoring availability and overall health of the environment
• Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms, automation, and system evolution
• Actively participate in hiring and building the AWS team
• Effectively communicate with internal customers, coordinate between teams, and handle escalations
• Periodically support a 24/7 on-call rotation
