Job Description

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking an L5 Systems Development Engineer to join the Firmware Builder Services team within the Hardware Engineering Services organization. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining services, systems, and operational infrastructure for delivering firmware to AWS datacenters globally.

Requirements

• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 1+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems experience
• 7+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems, and hands-on systems engineering experience
• Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain services, systems, and operational infrastructure for delivering firmware to AWS datacenters globally
• Collaborate with cross-functional product vertical and firmware development teams
• Stand up operational infrastructure to manage services and systems at scale across multiple geographical regions
• Contribute to the development and scaling of firmware deployment orchestration systems
