Job Description

Join a dynamic team within the Block & Object storage organization at AWS to build a new service that will provide customers with an exceptional storage experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming experience in at least one software programming language
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Architect large-scale distributed systems
• Improve availability and performance of systems
• Innovate to increase hardware resource utilization
• Develop distributed systems to manage millions of hardware resources
• Ensure health of the overall storage system
