Systems Development Engineer, MGM+SA

Job Description

Amazon is seeking an experienced Systems Development Engineer to join the Prime Video team. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack systems on AWS.

Requirements

• Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
• Experience with Linux/Unix
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain full-stack systems on AWS, encompassing development, testing, and production environments
• Develop and optimize containerized applications using Kubernetes for orchestration
• Integrate and manage third-party services to enhance system capabilities
• Implement and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring security and performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues across the entire stack
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices and processes
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the team
