Front End Engineer III, Amazon

Job Description

Join Amazon's US Prime & Marketing Tech organization as a Sr. Front End Engineer to drive strategic decision-making on critical UI feature development and make an impact on customer experiences.

Requirements

• 4+ years of non-internship professional front end, web, or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS experience
• 5+ years of front-end developer creating prototypes or wire-frames for enterprise web applications or workflows experience
• Experience developing with MVC/MVM frameworks (e.g. React.JS, AngularJS, Vue)

Responsibilities

• Driving strategic decision-making on critical UI feature development, from design through implementation and to testing and deployment
• Coaching and mentoring junior peers in front-end work
• Maintaining and raising the technical bar across all software development, particularly around front-end work
• Working closely with software and science managers, product owners, and business stakeholders to define system architecture, elaborate user stories, and discuss trade-offs
