Construction Project Engineer, DC Construction

Job Description

The AWS Infrastructure Services team is seeking a Data Center Construction Project Engineer to join their diverse and innovative team working on constructing energy-efficient and cost-effective Amazon Data Centers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or 6+ years of related construction management experience
• 3+ years of construction management experience in large, complex projects involving mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) plants
• 3+ years of general contractor and vendor management experience in construction and project execution

Responsibilities

• Establishing communication and coordination across a data center region's general contractors, stakeholders, and internal teams
• Participating in constructability reviews of electrical and mechanical designs for new or existing data centers
• Tracking and stewarding build documentation, including design changes, submittals, RFI's, change orders, and invoicing
• Managing project milestones, correspondence, and documents
• Overseeing project closeout efforts and contributing to initiatives aimed at increasing data center resiliency
