Job Description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is hiring an Engineering Technician to support data centers in ensuring high reliability and performance while minimizing operating costs.

Requirements

• High school or equivalent diploma
• 1+ years of data center or mission critical facilities experience
• 1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience

Responsibilities

• Supervising contractors for servicing or maintenance
• Performing maintenance tasks and root cause analysis
• Troubleshooting facility and rack level events
• Ensuring safety protocols are followed
• Working on-call and a rotating schedule
• Taking operational readings and providing metrics reporting
• Performing basic support concepts like ticketing systems and task prioritization
