Software Development Engineer, Ring Subscriptions

Job Description

Ring is looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer to help build new initiatives on the Billing and Subscriptions team, supporting the expansion of services business and customer support.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and update functionality for Ring Billing and Subscription services
• Improve the architecture of the application for scalability
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders for technical discussions and feature analysis
• Identify and execute opportunities to enhance user experience
• Own operation excellence, tech debt, and security roadmap
• Guide team members in building scalable solutions
