Job Description

The Pricing Shared Services team at Amazon Retail is seeking a talented Software Development Engineer to work on core systems that determine product prices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Developing services using expertise in various technologies
• Designing and optimizing distributed systems for performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Innovating and scaling services
• Writing clean, maintainable code and integrating data from multiple services
• Contributing to peer code-reviews and mentoring team members
