Firmware Engineer, Amazon Robotics (AR)

Job Description

Seeking experienced Firmware Engineers to design and develop software for controlling robotics systems in a new automation system that combines various technologies for warehouse operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Expert level C/C++
• Experience building complex embedded systems

Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams to develop integrated solutions
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers
• Integrate and troubleshoot robotic systems with other solutions
• Build simulation engines and integration tests
• Identify and fix failure modes in collaboration with hardware teams
• Travel expected for onsite system testing
