Job Description

Amazon Robotics is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to develop innovative hardware designs for robotic systems and enhance customer experiences.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics Engineering or similar
• Established background in Robotics or Mechatronic Systems
• SolidWorks or similar CAD experience
• Hands-on experience crafting proof-of-concept models and prototypes
• Thorough understanding of mechanical engineering principles
• Experience with full lifecycle product design
• Strong communication and technical writing skills

Responsibilities

• Execute product designs from concept to production
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors
• Create design of experiments and lead automation of experiments
• Write requirements, specifications, and test procedures
• Design holistic hardware solutions for ambiguous problems
