Sr. Safety Support Engineer, RSE

Job Description

The Amazon Robotics team is seeking exceptional individuals to support the safety performance of critical global operations by leveraging support processes, tools, and technical expertise.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related science-based field
• 5+ years of experience applying safety principles in a manufacturing, warehouse, or operations environment
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, EU safety standards, and industry safe work practices
• Ability to be on-call on a limited basis, including weekends and/or evenings

Responsibilities

• Resolve safety-related technical problems using support processes and tools
• Track issues through resolution phase and engage subject matter experts as needed
• Provide technical guidance to operational teams and troubleshoot challenges
• Create and maintain problem resolution procedures and identify new tools to support solutions
• Collaborate with various teams to understand safety issues and evaluate system requirements
• Manage team members and contribute to safety design reviews and risk assessments
