Software Development Engineer II, AWS Security

Job Description

AWS Security is seeking a Software Development Engineer (SDE) in Herndon, VA to design and build services that solve complex problems at the scale of the entire AWS cloud.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Design and develop highly scalable and available services
• Raise the bar for quality and delivery through mentorship
• Build on AWS for AWS using cloud-native and containerized technologies
• Collaborate with team members to identify process improvements
