Systems Development Engineer II, ADC Analytics

Job Description

Join Amazon Web Service's world class technical team in either Denver, CO or Herndon, VA. Work on building and deploying solutions across thousands of devices in a large scale, distributed environment.

Requirements

• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 1+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
• Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)
• Currently hold an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph

Responsibilities

• Work with Linux in a large scale, distributed environment
• Understand networking technology and how servers and networks inter-relate
• Participate in troubleshooting and conduct technical post-mortem discussions
• Code in Java or Python to solve complex system problems
• Build and deploy solutions across thousands of devices
• Improve and streamline processes for work on a massive scale
