Software Development Engineer, Amazon Integrated Security

Job Description

Amazon is looking for candidates to join the Security Platform Engineering team to design, implement, and maintain platform services and features using AWS to build highly scalable solutions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain platform services and features using AWS to build highly scalable solutions
• Automate deployments, upgrades and system changes to ensure continuous operations
• Partner with cross-functional teams to understand their use cases and build solutions to automate their workflows
• Enable customers to automate security tasks and track success metrics using tooling
• Participate in on-call operations to ensure system reliability and continuity across the company
• Identify opportunities to enhance skills in software development, cloud computing, and security
