Software Development Engineer, BlackWatch Core Platform

Job Description

The AWS Infrastructure Services team is seeking software engineers to join the Anti-DDoS team in building and maintaining the control plane infrastructure for the AWS Shield service.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with Java, C, C++, or Python
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Building and evolving the control plane infrastructure for the Anti-DDoS service
• Maintaining packet processing metrics and configuration dashboard
• Collaborating with software and networking development teams
• Ensuring the service meets the needs of customers globally
