Security Engineer II, Customer Logistics Security

Job Description

Amazon’s Customer Logistics Security team is looking for a skilled security engineer to help keep Amazon’s Fulfillment and Logistics sites secure. The role involves innovating, developing, and maintaining automation of network traffic inspection and threat simulation activities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of programming in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .Net, C++ or similar object oriented language experience
• Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS and TCP/IP
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering or related field and 3+ years of related industry experience
• Experience with any combination of system administration, network security, and/or cloud infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated logging, monitoring, and threat simulation infrastructure
• Leverage scripting and automation skills (including AWS) to improve efficiency of organizational processes and tooling
• Perform security consulting tasks such as threat modeling, architecture diagramming, and troubleshooting
• Create, and maintain security design documentation, runbooks, and metrics for a variety of engineering projects
• Communicating and collaborating with partner teams, service owners, and other security teams
