Job Description

The Sr. Ops Engineer Deployment & Ramp position at Amazon's Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging Customer Experience Org involves overseeing multiple products, programs, and projects, and deploying MSP solutions at various sites.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of directly managing and responsible for multiple large projects experience
  • 3+ years of program leadership experience
  • Experience and strong technical background in relevant fields of automated or non-automated material handling equipment
  • Experience managing project portfolios, budgets, and decentralized resources to execute project goals
  • Experience working in a global environment while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Ability to travel frequently within the country and occasionally internationally
  • Experience interpreting mechanical, electrical diagrams, and controls logic
  • Experience with procurement of equipment
  • Experience in Robotics, Automation, distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or other warehouse environments

Responsibilities

  • Manage the development of project plans and technical solutions
  • Influence decisions on deployment and machine performance execution strategy
  • Own the tactical planning on the installation of complex cross-functional projects
  • Own the strategy of the program/product for annual planning of resources and budget
  • Own communication of program execution and performance both verbally and in writing
  • Collaborate with hardware engineering, technical program and product managers, and internal customers
  • Ensure all business stakeholders are aligned on program status
