Job Description

Join the EC2 Cost Management team within the EC2 Pricing Engineering organization at Amazon to innovate on large-scale systems and help customers maximize utilization and save money using the world's largest compute cloud.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize customer-facing features for selecting products and using EC2 features efficiently
• Define intuitive web-service APIs and use cutting-edge technologies to develop new customer features rapidly
• Empower developers to build their applications on EC2 compute power
• Automatically deploy and monitor services to identify performance issues
• Recruit, interview, and hire software developers
• Mentor junior software developers and grow skills and career
