IT Application Engineer III, Checkout Engineering

Job Description

The Application Engineer III will be a technical leader in the Checkout Engineering organization, driving innovation and best practices across multiple teams and functional areas.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree and 6-8 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• MS degree and 6-8 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of large-scale, distributed systems
• Drive architectural decisions and best practices for scalability, reliability, and performance
• Collaborate with product managers to translate complex requirements into technical solutions
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in capacity planning
• Troubleshoot complex issues in production environments
• Design and implement APIs and services for seamless integration
