Sr. Hardware Power Engineer, Power Technology

Job Description

The Amazon Devices team is seeking a Senior Power Engineer to own power and energy consumption models for consumer electronics products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 7+ years of experience as a hardware or systems engineer
• Experience with schematic and layout tools such as OrCAD and Allegro
• Experience with Lab Equipment like Oscilloscopes, DC Analyzers, and DAQ systems
• Experience debugging power issues on embedded electronics devices
• Experience using LDOs, SMPS, and power distribution in embedded systems or power and energy consumption modeling and optimization

Responsibilities

• Interact with cross-functional engineering teams
• Dive deep into power-related issues and collaborate with teams to solve them
• Participate in schematic and layout reviews
• Address all aspects of power technology readiness
• Help design and deliver innovative power technology to products
