Embedded Software Development Engineer, Kuiper Team

Job Description

Join Project Kuiper to architect, develop, and test communication systems payload software for Low Earth Orbit satellites providing internet connectivity to un-served communities worldwide.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Responsibilities

• Drive the design, development, and operation of key satellite functions
• Own embedded software functions design, implementation, test, and integration
• Write software to control silicon devices using various communication buses
• Work closely with hardware teams to support board design and integration
• Follow best practices in high reliability embedded software development
• Debug low-level issues at the intersection of hardware/FPGA/firmware/software
