Job Description

The Controls Engineer role at Amazon involves creating and executing highly flexible and efficient packaging machinery and automation platforms to meet customer expectations while optimizing costs and sustainability.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Automation, Controls, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
• Experience with Linux/Unix
• Proven experience in advanced motion control platforms (HMI, PLC, Motion, Safety) integrated design and programming
• 3+ years experience with motion control software

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Electrical and Mechanical engineering resources on project teams
• Design and program advanced packaging machinery and automation systems
• Execute control systems design and integration at project/platform level
• Ensure project documentation completeness and scalability
• Support safety certification of projects/platforms
• Participate in meetings to enhance customer experience, supply chain performance, and sustainability
