Job Description

Senior developer/architect role in Amazon's Inventory Planning and Control team responsible for designing/building scalable, distributed computing solutions to drive $100B inventory buying decisions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Partnering with data science, product managers, and software engineers to solve complex problems
• Driving the team's technical direction and shaping the long-term vision and architecture
• Developing end-to-end solutions to improve customer experience
• Exposing to solving problems of scale in data mining, machine learning algorithms, and distributed systems
