Sr Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer, Project Kuiper

Job Description

Lead Manufacturing Engineer position for Project Kuiper satellite program providing critical design for manufacturability input and supporting testing of satellite assemblies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, material science or other related discipline, or relevant experience
• 5+ years of experience in design and manufacturing of complex assemblies
• 3+ years experience authoring and executing mechanical and test work instructions
• 5+ years Experience reducing cycle time and improving labor efficiency

Responsibilities

• Production equipment design, procurement, installation, and qualification
• Material flow planning and manufacturing process definition
• Supporting space hardware testing, including tooling design and data analysis
• Designing test cases for functional, performance, and stress testing in hardware systems
• Handling large data sets from test campaigns and processing test results
• Mentorship settings with other engineers on the team
