Job Description

Amazon Web Services (Route 53) is expanding their presence within the Herndon, VA area and seeking senior level Software Developers to join the highly available and scalable Domain Name System (DNS) service team.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Listen to customers, synthesize their needs, and rapidly iterate services
• Lead the team in building and running software in the real world
• Work on technical problems spanning various core topics in computer science
• Prototype, instrument code, talk with customers, code features, and propose new ideas
