Software Development Engineer, AWS Hardware Engineering

Job Description

Join the AWS Hardware Engineering team to drive system innovation in the servers used by Amazon Web Services, including EC2, S3, EBS, and CloudFront.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Responsibilities

• Own next-generation CPU and Memory components used in servers across AWS
• Interact with internal and external interdisciplinary teams of engineers to design, develop, validate, launch, monitor, and troubleshoot at large scale
• Provide leadership in the application of new technologies to servers in a continuous effort to deliver and improve a world-class customer experience
