Support Engineer III, Security Issue Management

Job Description

Amazon is looking for a Support Engineer III to join the Security Issues Management team. The ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain scalable security solutions to protect customer trust and maintain high security standards at Amazon.

Requirements

• 2+ years of software development or technical support experience
• Experience scripting in modern programming languages
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for builders and security partners
• Develop, maintain, and optimize team-related application security metrics and customer-facing documentation
• Utilize scripting languages to automate processes, troubleshoot complex issues, and support analysis tools
• Support and enhance a suite of internally developed analysis tools
• Leverage SQL for data collection, preparation, and analysis
• Improve and streamline support processes through scripting and automation
