Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience as a mentor or leading an engineering team
• High level of fluency with Ruby on Rails and RubyGems
• Experience building automated tests using RSpec
• Comprehensive knowledge of patterns such as MVC and Object Oriented Programming
• Experience with Git, RESTful APIs, JSON:API specification, and Active Record
• Experience using GitLab CI/CD and Terraform for infrastructure management
• Experience utilizing AWS services for building applications in the cloud
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with other teams

Responsibilities

• Solve complex problems across the podcast ecosystem using technology
• Improve and build new tools, services, and applications
• Deliver software solutions on schedule with high code quality
• Engage with stakeholders on project planning and communication
• Participate in on-call rotation and troubleshoot technical issues
• Write code, architect new features, and solve technical challenges
