Job Description

Amazon Logistics is seeking an experienced Sr. Innovation Engineer to lead the implementation of robotics and automation systems in the European Delivery Station Network.

Requirements

• 4+ years of working in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
• BS in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience with prototyping and implementation
• Hands-on experience crafting proof-of-concept models and prototypes
• Experience communicating concepts and writing technical documents
• Experience working in a fast-paced agile environment
• Experience with full lifecycle and proficiency at completing tasks to meet associated milestones

Responsibilities

• Drive customer requirements for AR system implementation
• Identify automation opportunities based on labor, cost, safety, and performance metrics
• Lead AR and MHE automation pilots, measuring success against productivity, quality, and safety targets
• Develop business cases and implementation strategies
• Support commissioning and maintenance of new installations
• Create technical documentation including flow diagrams and equipment layouts
• Develop future technologies (robotics, IoT)
