Senior Front End Engineer , Project Kuiper

Job Description

Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of satellites in low Earth orbit, bringing fast and affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities worldwide. This role is for a Sr Frontend Software Engineer to design, implement, and operate globally available distributed systems for managing and monitoring Kuiper's terrestrial devices.

Requirements

• 4+ years of non-internship professional front end, web, or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS experience
• 5+ years of front-end developer creating prototypes or wireframes for enterprise web applications or workflows experience
• Experience developing with MVC/MVM frameworks (e.g. React.JS, AngularJS, Vue)

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in overall product strategy and UI presentation
• Be involved in every aspect of the UI for new features, from idea generation to technical design and software development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the best customer experience
• Design and implement highly functional and accessible UI compliant with Amazon standards
• Design and implement globally available distributed cloud architectures
• Partner with various engineering teams for system development
