Job Description

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is seeking an innovative leader to design the next generation of world-class equipment for delivery stations, with a focus on equipment development and innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics (or equivalent related experience)
• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in the specialty
• Experience in areas like Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Manufacturing/Mechanical Plant Engineering, First Article Inspection (FAIR)
• Experience with introducing new vendors and vendor technical quality management
• Experience with automated material handling equipment and systems
• Experience in Capital project management
• Experience using business/technical software like MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software

Responsibilities

• Act as the WW technical expert for equipment development
• Lead idea generation for innovative design/equipment solutions
• Create documentation for equipment solutions
• Generate structured plans for turning innovative equipment design solutions into reality
• Own and deliver against plans, providing network reporting and leadership approval
• Build large-scale business proposals based on innovative designs
• Ensure customer satisfaction by following through with requests
• Coordinate with Tech/Software teams for operational execution of software enhancements
