Job Description

The Amazon Connectivity team is seeking a seasoned Software Development Engineer in the Wi-Fi SW connectivity organization to design and enhance Wi-Fi software solutions for Amazon devices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#
• Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices
• Hands-on experience in IEEE802.11/Wi-Fi protocols
• Experience with Wi-Fi development tools
• Experience with Android and Linux development

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance Wi-Fi software for Amazon's consumer products
• Optimize Wi-Fi performance and power consumption
• Engage with vendors to integrate Wi-Fi chipset solutions
• Collaborate with other software teams to design and deliver unique customer features
• Provide technical assistance to troubleshoot customer issues
