Senior Design Engineer , RSR DE & AMZL Speed

Job Description

The Rural & Super Rural (RSR) Design Engineering team is looking for an innovative design engineer to lead new initiatives and develop world-class industrial building designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM 360, etc.)
• 8+ years of experience with automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and systems including robotics and high-speed manufacturing
• 8+ years of experience in process design based on Lean Principles
• 8+ years of experience in Capital project management
• 8+ years of experience with engineering design projects

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate design efforts for optimal delivery station design solutions
• Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to generate cost-effective solutions
• Manage multiple projects and tasks while influencing and communicating effectively
• Provide design support for large-scale engineering projects and building designs
• Communicate technical solutions and business cases to senior executives
