Embedded Software Engineer, Amazon Robotics Safety Firmware

Job Description

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 3+ years of embedded firmware development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience in embedded development in C/C++

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain both safety and non-safety rated systems used in the world’s largest autonomous robot fleet
• Participate in the architecture of complex systems and partner with coworkers to realize the team's goals
• Create solutions that balance world class performance and safety
• Provide feedback in the peer review process and effectively communicate with technical leadership
