Data Engineer II, North America Transportation Services

Job Description

Amazon's North American Transportation Services (NATS) team is seeking an experienced Data Engineer II to help build an enterprise-grade data lake with AWS data services.

Requirements

• 5+ years of data engineering experience
• Experience building/operating distributed systems of data extraction, ingestion, and processing
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS
• Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Hive, Spark, EMR
• Experience with SQL data orchestration tools like DBT, Mode, and Airflow

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain data infrastructure including data modeling and ETL pipelines
• Build data pipelines from various sources using AWS big data technologies
• Develop and track key performance indicators
• Provide analytical support and make data-driven program decisions
• Design and develop ingestion of data for business insights
