Senior Silicon Test Engineer, Kuiper Silicon Team

Job Description

Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. As a Senior RF ATE Engineer at Amazon, you will work on developing production test solutions for mm-wave RFICs for Project Kuiper custom silicon.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/communications engineering or related field.
• 5 or more years of employment in ATE test development focused on RF and Analog silicon.
• Up to 20% international travel required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design and process engineering teams to implement and optimize test programs for mm-wave System-on-Chips (SoCs) on ATE platforms.
• Monitor and analyze production test data to identify trends, yield issues, and opportunities for test time optimization.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing and subcontractor teams to resolve test-related issues promptly.
• Lead the investigation and analysis of returned materials, identifying root causes of failures through comprehensive electrical and physical failure analysis techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence of identified issues.
