IT Support Engineer I, In Person Support

Job Description

Amazon IT Services is seeking an IT Support Engineer who will provide comprehensive technical support to Amazon Corporate employees and be customer-focused and motivated by team success.

Requirements

• High school or equivalent diploma
• 3+ years of corporate setting Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience
• 2+ years of troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment experience
• 1+ years of Windows Server technologies: AD, DFS, Print Services, SCCM experience

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive technical support to Amazon Corporate employees
• Look for innovative process improvements and participate in teams to implement change
• Acquire and maintain current knowledge of relevant IT policies
• Troubleshoot/support escalations for customers via tickets
• Create and maintain documentation
• Ticket queue management and auditing across North America
• Handle requests and technical project work to completion
• Assist with activities to triage and escalate system or network outages
• Follow, update and create standard operating procedures (SOP) to improve knowledge management
