Job Description

The AWS Core Networking Organization is looking for a Software Development Engineer to join the Network Product Development team. This role involves automating and inventing new ways of operating Amazon's network.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Solving complex and ambiguous problems efficiently and with high quality
• Shaping the definition, vision, design, roadmap, development, and operationalization of customer-facing services
• Contributing to critical and highly-visible functions within the AWS business
