Data Engineer, Ring Data Science and Engineering

Job Description

Ring is seeking a Data Engineer with strong analytical, communication, and project management skills to join their team. The role involves designing, evangelizing, and implementing state-of-the-art solutions to enhance customer experience within a complex data environment.

Requirements

• 3+ years of data engineering experience
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
• Experience with SQL

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining efficient, scalable, and privacy/security complaint data pipelines
• Collecting requirements from Business Stakeholders across various verticals
• Building and maintaining data ingestions using Native AWS services and internal Amazon tools
• Maintaining/improving existing data ingestions and ensuring compliance with evolving standards
• Building/improving/maintaining frameworks or tools for internal team and external stakeholder usage
• Performing Code Reviews and ensuring best practices for ETL and Data Hygiene
