Job Description

The Outbound Communication Services team at Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer to work on foundational systems enabling communication with customers via Email, SMS, and Push endpoints.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full development cycle of large-scale distributed software applications
• Translate functional requirements into robust, scalable solutions
• Evaluate and make decisions around the use of new or existing software products and tools
• Shape, refine, and redefine systems using software engineering expertise
